This is the first piece of tab I have sent and I hope that the format used
corresponds to the norm. The piece is relatively easy to play apart from
the last section which does tend to go rather quickly.

I dont know how many people access these tab sites so if you do happen to
download this please could you e-mail me to let me know. If I get a reasonable
response then I will post some more. If when you e-mail you let me know of
any songs you are after ( I mainly play Steve Vai, Joe satriani etc), I will

The series I have been posting on the sweep picking
technique is coming along, and I will have another addition to it
shortly. But I thought you all might enjoy this too. This
is from the movie “Crossroads” and is the sequence that Eugene
uses at the end of the film to defeat Stevie Vie. It’s entitled
“Eugenes trick bag” and if you give it some patient effort, you’ll
see that there are some really good arppegio ideas here, though Steve
plays this with finger picking, I have adapted it for my sweep style
in as many places as posible. You should try the same, it’s great practice
O’k, lets do it!

is played by fretting the string against the bridge position pick-up
on a Tele.. type guitar…(I cant get it on my Ibanez Sabre)
Well thats it…. I hope you find it enjoyable to play and instructional
to learn…. I think that my 10 years as a guitar teacher have put me in
a position where I feel I can contribute more to this group by using my
experience to answer questions and prepare lessons..(in tab form of course)
So I will continue to do this until someone tells me I’m waisting my time
